VEGAS PART 2 The conclusion.

So I'm back from Vegas, one week later. i have to admit, it was pretty fun but i wouldn't go again.

We stayed at the luxor, which is a pretty cool hotel in the shape of a pyramid and the elevators are on a slant so every time you travel you end up doing the Michael Jackson lean. criss angel performs there too :P

OK anyway. so I'm just gonna document what i did on each of the 5 days and say how i felt about each experience. this will be in separate blog posts

Day 3: Running on energizer bunny energy and slow legs.
We went to eat at the Pyramid cafe again because DURRRRR American breakfasts.. THERE'S SO MANY DIFFERENT KINDS OF BREAKFASTS AND THEY'RE ALL SO DAMN YUMMY.

the plan for the day was to trek through to the Excalibur and onto the MGM hotel for CSI EXPERIENCE and KA .... after shopping with the whole family. OK so i go on this pretty lame trip to the mall, and LOW AND BEHOLD I SEE THE HOT TOPIC STORE. AND EVERYTHING WAS ON SALE. hitting the shopping jackpot in Vegas? BOOYAH. little mermaid stuff, finding nemo socks, more Disney apparel... and 2 bags later, we took the bus back and we headed to MGM grand. we went into the lower levels of MGM and there it was. CSI. AND IT WAS SO SO SO SOOOOOOOO COOL. IT WAS LIKE A LIVE WHODUNIT MURDER MYSTERY THINGY BUT WITH SCIENCE AND STUFF. too bad pis weren't allowed...
and i finished solving the first case they assigned to me. there were 2 other cases but in order to get those, it was an extra 10 bucks to solve both. OK fair enough, it's cheap, LETS GO AGAIN THE NEXT DAY! so i go to report my findings to Gil Grissom VIA COMPUTER, and i got everything right. AND I GOT A CSI THE EXPERIENCE CERTIFICATE! so i finish completely and i go into the gift shop.. and i buy this BIIIG COMFY OVER SIZED sweater because for some reason Vegas was super cold that day. and i was perfectly OK after that. and then i also bought a mini flashlight that emits such a STRONG LIGHT. HOLY CRAP. but it works. so i was content and i got it for free. and then off we went limping to go watch KA.

KA WAS SO FA-KING AMAZING. again, pictures not allowed. before we went in we went to the gift shop and i bought the "O" CD. and then we took pictures in front of the entrance. and we talked to the front entrance guy who was so into his character. he asked us were we were from and we said we hailed from Toronto Canada, and we came to support :) and he was happy to hear that. another person asked HIM where he was from and he said 'FROM THE LAND OF KA.' in my head I'm thinking now HERE is a guy who loves his job. and i began missing the days of theatre. anyway he wished us all the best and hope we enjoy the show (which we did).
we went in and IT WAS LIKE FLYING FISTS EVERYWHERE. not literally of course but the stage show. guys. seriously. GO SEE KA. IT'S AMAZING. NO WORDS CAN EVEN DESCRIBE HOW GOOD IT WAS.
At the end though i did feel a little bit cheated because i wanted to see the last part that showed on CSI LasVegas where they were all vertical and suspended on bungee cords. they showed a screen on that part... :( then we limped back to the hotel to rest. by then our legs were killing us and i had blisters on my toes.

Day 4: second last day of Vegas.
by this time the smoke fumes were starting to get to me. I'd wake up coughing and my eyes would always water. but i didn't care. i was having a blast. and i didn't need smoke, alcohol, or gambling to to enjoy myself.

off to More Buffet, this time for the breakfast buffet. we did some more shopping and sightseeing. but now i was running on low energy. and my feet were killing me. but i still wanted to finish CSI. so i went with two other girls in the group, finished solving the other two crime scenes with perfection and no error all within 45 30 minutes, and we bolted back to the luxor. we just hibernated in the hotel rooms until the next cirque du soleil show at the bellagio. this time we were going to go see "O." wasn't sure if it was the atmosphere, or the music, or the smell of chlorinated pool, or the beautiful music playing in the background... but me and Steven kept almost falling asleep... it wasn't that the show was boring oh no, it was beautiful... but we were just so relaxed that.. we... we... *almost fell asleep* Steven and i kept nudging each other to stay awake... after the show we took the taxi back home because we were just too tired to walk.. also by this time, i was trying to desperately get criss angel to retweet me ;__; lol...

Day 5: Coming home

we still had about a few hours left before we had to go to the airport so we decided to check out the Bodies exhibit inside the luxor and the fun dungeon at the Excalibur. fun dungeon was a bit of a disappointment, so we went to the bodies exhibit. there were displays made from real bodies of people who had donated their bodies to science. i think there's a show here in Niagara falls so if you guys ever get curious, i suggest going in there. it's pretty interesting, creepy, and depressing at the same time. depressing because it also includes dead foetuses. anyway, we finished the exhibit and found out we had just enough time for dinner. so we went over to Rice&Co one last time to eat and then we headed over to the airport.

it was a quick 4 days of Vegas. after the 5th day it began to get boring. if i was offered the opportunity to go again, i would probably decline.. OK MAYBE i would go just to see criss angel again, but if i HAD to go for family then i think I'm pretty much prepared to know what to do and where to go to entertain myself.
