New Disney Cast Member. aka MEEEE

EEEP!

Super excited to start working for Disney! Now for those who wondered how i actually got in, i'm not telling. but i CAN tell you this: There was a lot of IMPROV. any theatre students out there? no? ok. since it was a group interview we had to sing and act on command without pausing. basically pretend like you're on stage... AND we had to read.

"what kind of interview WAS this??" you ask. the DISNEY KIND.

it was a pretty awesome interview. i sang an excerpt of IN SUMMER from Frozen, and then A Whole New World from Aladdin (the only person who had enough guts to sing). then we had to act out different scenarios as if we were on the job, aaand i pretended to read as if there was children in front of me. BONUS points for turning the book around too. then we had a full blown conversation about disneyparks and frozen.. and SPARKLES!! AND DRESSING UP... we get to dress up?? o-o snap it'll be halloween ALLDAY ERRDAY. I'M DOWN.

anyway. they called me back 15 minutes afterwards on my cell and asked how excited am i to be a cast member.

this was my reaction: OHMYGOD REAAALLYYYY??? OHMYGOD I'M GONNA CRYYY OH MY GOD

me: YESS

now i just have to wait for an email confirmation from them so i can answer a few more questions or if they don't send me anything (by today) i have to call back sometime today so they can help me get set up. YAY!

Now that you know what went down (ish?) get ready for some cheese.
(Now you guys know i can't receive or give cheese, so it ends up being super difficult because i don't know what to say. But this come from the bottom of my heart so just bear with me!)

THE CHEESE.

Disney, you've been in my life for a very long time. from the time i was in diapers and i first saw the little mermaid, until the day i got married and bought your Disney princess wedding gown/ blinged my nails with mickey mouse/ had your music playing in the background of my reception and ceremony/ had my very first Magical Disneyland trip as my honeymoon. You have been a great influence on me, you've taught me so many lessons, made me laugh, made me cry, made life a little more bearable, and made my life a lot more magical... you've brought so much joy to the world and I'm so happy that i finally get a chance to be a.... PART OF YOUR WORRRRRLLD (that was unintentional but it worked out that way :P) and officially be part of the Disney family. I've always wanted to do this for a really long time. EEP! Cannot wait to extend the same happiness and magic to others. Love you soooo much! Thank you for giving a little girl like me a chance, and for making my dreams come true!

The Flight Home from the Happiest Place on the Planet went South. Literally.

I got a wake up call from mickey mouse. Go figure since it was airport day, I started crying :(
Then breakfast came... and they gifted me a SUPER HUGE MICKEY MOUSE WAFFLE!! JUST LIKE I WANTED FROM DAY ONE but i was never able to get one BUT THEY GAVE ME ONE!!! I thought i'd be getting the small mickey mouse waffles like the last few times i had breakfast.
So then i cried eating my waffles. Even when we were leaving they managed to make it super magical!

But then, Lady Reality-check and her Boyfriend Irony decided to slap us in the face AGAIN when someone tried to make US pay for THEIR valet parking. WTF. we never GOT valet parking because we don't have a car, how the fuck did that happen?? So Steven brings it down to the receptionist downstairs and Disney was able to waive it because it was their mistake since they didn't confirm if he was actually staying in the hotel or if it was even the right room he was staying in. While that was happening i was watching mickey mouse cartoons in the lobby. And crying. OK let's just say i cried a lot.
So we left the hotel after that was sorted out, and the mother-fucker who used OUR hotel room number for valet parking got the parking for free :| Disney i hope you get your money that you deserve from the douche-bag that used you for your parking space... All 250 dollars of it.

***Time jump because there was nothing of importance that happened. besides lots of crying***

When we get to Atlanta at 9 pm, we find out our flight was delayed until 10pm... ok so no big deal, we waited the hour.. then we find out.. it got pushed AGAIN to 11pm. then slowly to 12pm.
the travellers and us were quite angry... how can a flight be delayed for 4 hours? Supposedly there was a lot of rain coming from where our plane was coming from. OK no big deal, so Steven and i sat and waited like good children. Played frozen free fall. we get word that the plane was actually due back for 11pm. YAY! an hour early! .... but then something happened I'm not sure what... we saw the plane dock and the crew was supposed to clean up the plane. great. but then it hits 12 and the delta airlines staff tell us that the crew Has "gone missing." another delta airline staff tells us they "clocked out" and that our flight was cancelled.

WTF. it's one thing to delay our flight, i understand things happen. but CANCELLING A FLIGHT and STRANDING YOUR PASSENGERS IN SOME FOREIGN COUNTRY?? So all us travellers grouped together when the staff member told us "well we don't know why they clocked out when there's passengers to fly out."
Well SOMEBODY knew. because how can they just let the pilot and crew go and leave people stranded like that? the plane came in at 11 and they clock out and didn't let all of us know until when the airport closed. wtf. OK so they give us a hotel voucher to stay in for the night. then they informed us to call into the delta airlines phone line to get new flight information "because it's 24 hour service. if we don't pick up, tweet, we answer those right away"
OK at least they did that. except on our way there we get this really sketchy driver who kept talking to himself and repeated things over and over.
A lot of us were very scared. Myself included... like it's dark out, no cars out.. and the guy said any hotel will take these vouchers and will give us a free night stay. drive to hotel and back to the airport included. this Asian guy who was supposed to board our flight was rejected form the cab and was told that WE were headed to a different hotel... except we end up at the hotel we were supposed to be at. including the Asian guy who got denied the ride over and he had to pay a cab. wow.

As soon as we step into Quality Hotel , we see a cockroach scurry across the floor. I kid you not. IT WAS DISGUSTING. when we reach our hotel room, the lights did not work, and the shower was super dirty so i couldn't take a shower :( quality hotel? more like shit quality... so it was time to call the delta airlines phone line.. and they put us on hold for 1 hour. no one picked up the phone. we even tweeted, and emailed.. no one got back to us. a bunch of us passengers were also re-tweeting each other and kept hash-tagging deltafail (BTW to this day they still have not responded). Steven made the super-smart decision to go onto the website to get flight info. once we got out new tickets, we fell asleep... well we couldn't really sleep... you see the pillows were not big enough for our heads... they were tiny dog pillows.. :\ we finally went shut eye at 2 in the morning.

We wake up at 5 because we had to be back at the airport for our flight at 7am :\ running on 3 hours of energy, and feeling like a grease ball. us passengers finally grouped together again, save for a few who couldn't get on the flight because no delta staff answered our calls.. turns out we were ALL put on hold, and the only people who boarded were the ones who went onto the delta airlines website for updated flight info. we find out one girl had a toilet that couldn't flush, and her lights didn't work either.

It was time to enter security... and i forgot that my water bottle from last night was in my bag. but here's the issue... they didn't confiscate it when i put it through the x-ray machine. didn't tell us to remove our shoes, belts, or anything... so when i found out my water bottle was still in my bag i kept wondering.. why didn't they stop me? so if (god forbid) a terrorist came through with a water bottle loaded with explosives, they'd let him through because they WERE NOT THOROUGH.
I COULD  NOT WAIT TO GET OUT OF ATLANTA. never again am i stopping here. And I am NEVER using Delta Airlines... like EVER.

DisneyLand Honeymoon: The Final Day

Even though we slept really late (packed suitcases and cleaned the night before), I ended up waking super early because today was gonna be my last day here and I didn't want to miss ANYTHING! Plan of action for the day: Going into Tomorrowland, see Anna and Elsa, and eating at the Blue Bayou.

One MickeyMouse phone call, and an outfit change later, we were out the door.

We skipped breakfast (on purpose this time) and dashed all the way into Fantasyland  to wait in line for Anna and Elsa. the approximate wait time (even though we got in right when the doors opened for early admission at 7) was two hours from where we were standing. Better than the average 4 hours at least. Never in my life have i learned the true meaning of "good things come to those who wait" until this moment. We moved up the line pretty fast and we got in at an hour 45 minutes because people stepped out of the line due to being impatient.
Anna and Elsa were IN THE HOUSE!!! (i mean literally inside a Dutch House with Olaf on the roof) Anna looked like she stepped out of the film!! Elsa... looked way too young to be Elsa and looked nothing like her at all :| but as soon as she opened her mouth to talk she was ALL ELSA. Both of them congratulated us on our marriage and we had a decent conversation with them. Here's how it went down:

Elsa: Are you on your honeymoon?? How long have you two known each other?? -- Now don't tell me it was for one day, Anna tried to do that within a day of knowing someone!
Me: About 9 years we've known each other, but we've been dating for 8.
Elsa and Anna: whoaaa!!
Anna: That's a reeeally long time!
Elsa: So you two must know a lot about love, you must be love experts then! Can you give Anna some advice?
Anna: Yeah I'm not sure how love really works ^_^'

Steven and i look at each other and we both agreed on...
Me: Compromise.
Steven: Yep.
Me: Loads of them.
Elsa: ooo compromises, that's a good one.
Anna: Compromises? oh ok, so, let's say for example, Kristoff wants carrots for lunch, but i want sandwiches (COMMENTARY: LOL! ).. could we have both carrots... AND sandwiches?
'Genius' me goes: or.. CARROT SANDWICHES!
Elsa and Anna Gasp: CARROT SANDWICHES??
Anna: That's such a great idea! You're so smart!
Elsa: See that's why SHE'S married!

EEEE :D Picture time, and they put me and Anna together so i go:
Me: let's put the gingers together :D
Anna: we're twins! :D
At the end we all hugged it out and continued talking..
Anna: how long are you in Disneyland for?
Me: Today's our last day :(
Elsa and Anna: GASP! really??
Steven: Yep our flight's tomorrow afternoon.
Anna: Well we hope you enjoy the rest of your stay here then!
Elsa: Have fun!!!

Hugged it out some more, and we left the house. We took a horse and cart back to the Disneyland Hotel to eat breakfast because we still had time before the events at Tomorrowland actually start (they don't open until 10 or 11am)
Went to Tangora Terrace for Breakfast which was just located in the back, literally ten steps away, outside our hotel in front of the Hotel Pool. It was a Hawaiian themed restaurant and was very peaceful. For that restaurant, you place your own order on a screen and they make it for you. you pay for the meal at the register, you pick your own table, and then they bring the meal out to you. I ordered Eggs, bacon, a side of fruit, and 3 Mickey mouse waffles. It tastes normal but because they were shaped like Mickey was, it was magical :D (i know, the logic right?)... they were pretty tiny waffles though...

After breakfast we headed down to the monorail because our destination was Tomorrowland, and the monorail is the short cut in. we get into TomorrowLand, and we see.. GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY SNEAK PREVIEW. IN 3D. We went in for steven. It was REALLY COOL. i mean Literally cool. cool and in super COLD. they blasted the air conditioning so it was freezing, and the water and wind BLEW IN OUR FACES just to make us feel like we were in the movie! and our chairs moved.
Loads of Action and Comedy. Steven was so convinced that it'd be awesome that he wants to see the movie. though i doubt wind and rain will slap him in the face, and i don't think colossus seats will move :P
Afterwards we went on star tours again because supposedly there was 50 different combinations. Line up was faster this time because we were there earlier than everyone else. We did indeed have a different version of the ride and i wasn't as nauseous... i just got super nervous because ships were attacking us and we were flying into asteroids!!

Next stop was innoventions building to become ironman, meet thor, and meet captain america. Becoming Ironman was basically just using the Kinect.
When we went to meet thor we walked into a museum like place with a ton of "asgard artifacts".. except when we got in Odin lighted the room in a circle and we immediately "travelled" to asgard.. a door opens and we see THOR IN ODIN'S THRONE ROOM. and his long flowing hair. After his welcome speech, he showed us his hammer and asked if anyone wanted to try lifting it. he put the hammer next to him  and he asked a child to try lifting it. he couldn't do it (i assume there's a very strong magnet attached because the hammer did not budge). But Thor picked it up with ease and said "only i can wield it." When we got to meet him, here's how our convo went:

Thor: Hello, and how are you today?
Me: I'm great thankyou, how are you?
Thor: Not too bad myself! (cue his macho smile)
Me: I love your hair it's so long and flowy..
Thor: Why thank you! Your hair very pretty too! *cue Andrea being all shy and stuff and touching her hair :P* *Thor looks over to Steven wearing his mickeymouse hat and says.*... i'm sure your hair is fine too.
*People in line start laughing*
Thor: What do you think of Asgard?
Me: well... it's very gold o-o (derp. clearly, i didn't have anything smart to say)
Thor Laughs and says: well that's a very fair description of it.
He then signed my autograph book and drew a hammer on it.
Thor: I apologize but i don't have the greatest art skills.
Me: aww it's a hammer :D you drew a hammer!!
Thor then congratulates us on our marriage and we got to hold his hammer with him for a photo.

We left Asgard and we appeared in a video game area with a lot of XBOXES. O-O and Disney Infinity games. there was an area next to it called Projects of Tomorrow. there we assembled a human body within 4 minutes. then we went to see captain america. and he was very polite and we got to have a long convo with him too...

CAP.AM: Hello what's your names? *extends hands for a handshake*
Me: I'm andrea
Steven: I'm steven
Cap: very nice to meet you. now i just noticed your pins... does that mean what i think it means?"
Me and steven: Yes! *me with a cheeky smile*
Cap: well congratulations! where did you get married?
Me: In canada
Cap: You got married in Canada??
Steven: Well we're from there, so we were married there.
Cap: Oh you're Canadians?
Me: Yes, we came down here to visit our neighbour!
Cap: You must be preeetty huge fans for you to come all the way out here! is that autograph book for me?
Me: yes! *i give the book for him to sign*
Cap: have you seen any princesses yet?
Me: we have!
Cap: who's this princess on the cover?
Me: That's Princess Ariel, we've met her twice, she's so cute. Have you met her before?
Cap: No.. why is she single?
Me: Oh.. Nope.
Cap: Oh haha well i figured since everyone's been trying to set me up with somebody, i just thought... ^_^'
Me: well she does have 6 other sisters who are single... if you're looking.
Cap: ah.. well we'll see!

Then we strike an avengers pose for the camera. he tells me to hold my hands in a fist like black widow, and Steven to hold out his hand like iron man. except Steven wasn't doing it properly

Cap: a little more like this. stick it out more
Me: Steven, like you're doing TAI CHI
*Steven actually does it right*
Cap: haha that's true! Tai chi! well that's one way to do it! AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!!! *CAMERA CLICK*

then we shook hands and i high fived him...

Cap: i thought only kids gave high fives!
Me: I still do it :P

We finished and left the pavilion for lunch and went to Tomorrowland terrace. The sun was beating down on everyone and another person actually fainted. and it was another one of the hottest days ever.

*Guys.. remember how i said reality would soon hit me in the face? well THIS fucking happened...*

It was super hot outside but we needed seats to eat and the shaded seats were all taken. i find this one table with two Chinese ladies sitting and they looked like they finished their meal and they're just sitting there. so i go "ok it's Disneyland, it's hot out, maybe they'll be nice and accommodating, and let us sit here. i'll make the effort to be polite and go up and ask them if they still need the seats. Disneyland people are like super friendly, what are the chances they'll be rude?"

Me: hello :D excuse me?
*Both Chinese ladies are staring at me like 'who the fuck are you?'*
me: Hi! ^_^' are you still eating?
chink lady 1: NO. (commentary: well that was fucking RUDE)
Me: oh ok, do you know how long you're gonna say here for?
chink lady 2: *inaudible Mandarin Chinese but she's yelling at me... aaaand i manage to make out the word BITCH*
chink lady 1: *even more Chinese and she's just looking at her phone*

and then they both ignore me!! like wtf?? well that's the last time i try to be nice to Chinese people :\ seriously why the fuck u even in america if u can't speak English? if you're not gonna learn English maybe y'all should learn some MANNERS then, OR move back to fucking mainland china ok??
i don't mean to be racist to my own race but WTF. they just managed to ruin a perfectly magical trip. it really felt like i WASN'T in the happiest place on the planet any more.

So I'm pissed off out of my mind and I'm sweating and getting sunburnt... then i find another seat and these Latino people are sitting but look like they're about to leave, so i go:

Me: excuse me, are you just leaving?
them: yes, yes, sit, sit! very hot today!
me: oh ok!! thank you so much!

Basic meal that we had... hamburger and fries.
A bitch fit about fobby Chinese people after, we ate we left Tomorrowland and headed to fantasy theatre..

When along the way we met MARY POPPINS and her band! My happiness magically came back and i began singing with the band, it's a jolly holiday, spercaligrafilisticexpialidocious, step in time... and mary was teaching the kids how to dance.
we finally made it to the theatre and saw.. MERIDA! she looked so cute! when we reach the theatre, the workers asked if we wanted to play ring toss. so throw it in and it didnt make it in... steven joined in and we both threw our rings at the same time... THEY BOTH LANDED PERFECTLY and everyone yelled IT'S TRUE LOVE!!! They gave us a card that said true love and autographed in the back was ariel and.... PRINCE ERIC???? :DDDDDDDDDDD EEEEEEK! we also got bonus readmission tickets to pirates of the caribbean and alice in wonderland ride.

We quickly ran over to the alice ride before the show at the theatre started, but along the way we went acropps snow white's cute little bridge thats by a tiny waterfall with a snow white statue, and all of the dwarves! and when we made it across the bridge... i saw... SNOW WHITE'S WISHING WELL!!!

i threw a few pennies in and when i started singing "I'm wishing"... SNOW WHITE'S VOICE ACTUALLY ECHOED UP BACK AT MEEEEEE!!! and then I heard the whole song!!!

When we finished, we finally made it into Alice and we skipped the huge ass line up. ride was cute... but also very scary.. it was like the first kingdom hearts level where everything was in a cardboard box and we had to do all these twists and turns... Once we finished we went back to the fantasy theatre to watch Beauty and the Beast. Parodied. so it was super cute but also super funny! guy pretending to be"Gaston" and second guy pretending to be "beast" did rock paper scissors when they were fighting, and threw pies at each other.

pretend beast: see i told you not to bring pies on the stage now they're gonna kick us out! we ruined the stage!
they both start arguing when Belle goes "guys, that's now how i remember the fight..."

After that we went back to the hotel to hide from the sun. we pretty much finished everything we wanted to do there... by the end of it my skin was super splotchy.. and i was really itchy. supposedly Disneyland has items known to the state of California to cause cancer. OH WELL YOLO. we bought a blanket for the house and for the flight home because it was going to be cold at the airport, especially since we were gonna fly back into Toronto at night. we ordered a breakfast in bed for the next morning because we leave the next day at noon. after a good one hour rest and a nice long shower, we headed back to the park.

Dinner that night was at the blue bayou located in New Orleans square and inside the pirates of the Caribbean ride, super dark and cosy and utterly romantic inside. not to mention away from the sunlight. we saw riders ride by on the boats while we ate our meal under the fake stars and fake lanterns. service was exceptional. the hot asked us if we had any food allergies. i said i was lactose intolerant, so the server AND the chef came out and provided alternative suggestions for the meal i wanted (surf and turf) which comes with a started house salad. it was a basic salad but WTF IT WAS AMAZINGLY GOOD O-O balsamic vinegar was yummy.. and i think they included cranberries in my salad. of course the actual meal was just as great. i had a lobster with filet Mignon on a bed of rice.
then we used the re-admission ticket for the pirates ride. we were the first in line at the front so we got to see everything with no obstructions. after that we slowly made our way back to main street to wait for the fireworks.
Steven decided to get clarabelle's ice cream. they gave too much. 'MURRRICA!

During the time we waited for the fireworks, 7:30 to 9pm, i thought back on the whole trip and took everything in. we finished seeing and doing everything in the span of one week, and even got to go to areas a second time! then i got really depressed because once the fireworks end the honeymoon would be over.

*Guys.. remember how i said reality would soon hit me in the face? well this SECOND incident fucking happened...*

A lady pushed her stroller onto my foot AND she stepped on my hand. after that this happened.

Lady: Sorry.

Me: it's ok.

Lady:.. i said i'm sorry!

Me and her husband: it's ok!

Lady:.. i said i was sorry!!

her husband: ok relax! it was an accident she said it was ok come off it!

like really? right when i was reminiscing the entire Disneyland trip, ya gotta fucking ruin the moment for me?

Then... the announcer came on and said fireworks may be postponed until the next day due to weather conditions. WHAT???

I WON'T GET TO SEE THE FIREWORKS? the reason was because it's cloudy. i thought loudly "back in canada even if it was cloudy we'd still get fireworks." nevertheless i was stubborn and i stayed in one spot and didnt leave. i was determined to see the fireworks. but then magically.. THE FIREWORKS STARTED!!

Now i thought that if i've seen it twice before i'd know what to expect and i won't cry. so i braced myself and said "ok i'm ready"... at least i thought i was ready...

suddenly the castle began to sparkle and glimmer (which never seemed to happen during the first two shows i saw) the single star flew over the castle... and then...

TINKERBELL FLEW OVER THE CASTLE!!! A REAL MOVING TINKERBELL PERSON WAS FLYING OVER THE CASTLE!! OH MY GOD! SHE NEVER APPEARED THE OTHER TWO TIMES???? i broke down crying. now because this was such a big surprise and because it was the last day i got really emotional. so emotional that people could hear me cry. and then one moment after i hear Timothy mouse go "DUMBO YOU DON'T NEED A MAGIC FEATHER! YOU CAN FLY!" AND THEN DUMBO FLEW OVER THE CASTLE! LIKE A REAL MOVING DUMBO!!! And... guess what? yep. i cried even more loudly and i swear my tears were all over my hand. Steven was holding me the entire time while i heard the lady singing:

Baby mine, don't you cry.Baby mine, dry your eyes.

*Commentary: Ok guys, typing up this last part is really difficult for me cuz i'm crying just remembering the little details of the last moments in Disneyland. My poor keyboard...*

For the finale, Tinkerbell appeared AGAIN flying over the castle one last time, and with a flick of her wand, the last fireworks shot up in a frenzy. At that point my face was red and splotchy. As if Disney couldn't be more magical than it already was, Disney decided to end my honeymoon with a big magical BANG. The fireworks was over and I cried on our way back to the hotel. After this it will be back to reality. Away from the land of happiness. (Whoever said money can't buy happiness: they LIED.)

*then incident NUMBER THREE fucking happened...*

Ironically enough, Reality came to slap us in the face AGAIN. some random crazy ass tourist snuck up behind us and screamed in our ear. JUST to scare the shit out of us. Now i really WAS dreading coming back to reality.
Before going to bed, I turned on the musical headboard just to hear the music and see it light up one last time...

"No matter how your heart is grieving, if you keep on believing, the dreams that you wish will come true."

I cried Big Tears to myself because I didn't want to leave. I wanted to stay here forever.
So that night, Steven promised that one day we'd come back. We're making it a life mission to travel to every single Disneyland there is and do every single Disney Resort Trip.

DisneyLand Honeymoon Day 5: Back to Disney California Adventures Park.

YAY MICKEYMOUSE MORNING CALL! A shove and an outfit change later, we were off to the other half of the park.. at 7 am in the morning.

Plan of action for the day: Paradise Pier, and taking a trip down under the sea!!

OH MY GOD.. it was like I died and went to HEAVEN. If Heaven existed, for me it would probably look like Disneyland by the ocean. THIS WAS ... -IS- PERFECTION! Super nautical and it was just like as if I was by the ocean!

We headed to "the dock" to eat breakfast at the pacific wharf cafe. pretty basic breakfast, BUT we got to sit by the water and it was just MAGICAL!
I couldn't finish my meal so i fed the little birds my leftovers. one bird got close to be on the table and next thing you know i was sharing my meal with the little birdie! i felt like snow white.... :D i felt like a true disney princess. i also fed baby ducklings.

After we finished eating we took a lot of pictures by the pier. then we saw an "ARIEL ONLY" store.. WHICH INCLUDED A DINGLEHOPPER.. WHICH IS REALLY A COMB. OH MY GOD. eeeeeeeeeee!

Right next door was.. ARIEL'S UNDERSEA ADVENTURE. AND WE WERE THE FIRST IN LINE!! it's another one of those slow rides but it was so freaking magical.. it was like they brought you down into the water and back up to the surface again! the images of water rushed over you and you could feel the cold all over your body as you "sunk into the water".. and then.. i heard her...
"I wanna be where the people are, i wanna see, wanna see 'em dancing, walking around on those... what do you call them? oh feet!" - Part of your world, The little Mermaid

AND I WAS CRYING. AGAIN. (go figure.)

i came out of the ride as happy as a clam :P badumbum!

Afterwards, we went into another souvenir shop and bought ..  STUFFED SAILOR MICKEY MOUSE THAT WOULD MATCH THE HOUSE! SUER CUTE!!  and he's hugging his OWN stuffed teddy named Duffie bear. attached to the beach was his little story of how mickey got duffie the bear:
Minnie made it for him so whenever he gets lonely while on his travels, he can hug duffie. AWW!! ;__;

And then.. i saw it. KING TRITON'S MERRY GO ROUND! I hopped onto a blue whale, and steven hopped onto a seahorse. IT WAS SO FABULOUS! I FELT FABULOUS. i was like "i'm on a whale, madaflippas take a look at me!"

Then we went into a toy story 3d shooting ride! so interactive and so much fun! steven beat me though :( oh well. basically we had to shoot targets on 3d screens while our ride was moving... and i am not good at shooting. ever.

Next was Mickey's funwheel.. basically a ferris wheel. they gave us an option to go on the swinging gondola or the non swinging. we picked non swinging.. for steven's sake. i thought the ride was pretty relaxing but steven... he got SO SCARED that he repeatedly kept saying "OH MY GOD OH GEEZ OH GOD OH GOD OH GEEZ" and he kept a tight grip on his seat. 

The next ride i wanted to go on was the JUMPING JELLYFISH RIDE which was aminiature version of dropzone.. but smaller, softer, and for kids. steven had multiple heart attacks everytime the jellyfish dropped but he kept playing it off like "it was ok."

Steven stayed off the next ride because he looked terrified of it so i went on the SILLY SYMPHONY SWINGS by myself. it was basically... the swing of the century ride in Canada's wonderland, but disney-fied, and they played music from the silly symphony cartoon where mickey was a conductor and was orchestrating William Tell Overture.

We decided to take a rest by the water under the shade. because now i was suffering from exhaustion of waking up so early.. 5 days in a row.
then the Phineas and Ferb rock band float came by. it was ok.
We kept resting from 10:30am to 11am. i was so happy and content though regardless of how tired i was. I WAS IN DISNEYLAAAND :3 i was RESTING IN DISNEYLAAAND.

Then.. "Instant Concert Just Add Water" started by the water... actually IN the water.. and Goofy WAS MAESTRO. it was basically a water show with music. it was hilarious! goofy controlled the water ad music and we got all wet! Goofy go scared me messed up the show though. 

Then it was time for lunch! we went to Ariel's Grotto to eat for our free three course lunch meal and enjoy premium character dining :D yesss free!! we got to go UNDER THE SEA AGAIN! the selection of food was amazing! but unfortunately i only had to pick one main entrée... it was a choice of sustainable fish, lobster salad, shrimp and angel hair pasta, and extra sides.... we also got to meet ariel and 4 of her friends.. that day it was Cinderella, Aurora, Belle, and Snow white. Ariel was super friendly this time around and asked if we met before. stupid me thinking "oh the girl dressed as ariel is asking if we've met but i think i met a different ariel" so then i said.. 'No i dont think so o.o' so she goes "oh ok i though we've met before!" ... but then i realized "andrea you idiot, you MET ariel 2 days ago." smh. anyway, ariel goes on to say "you look just like me!" so she looks over to steven and says "you must be her eric then!" lot's of hugging and friendliness all around. she asked me if we were enjoying ourselves, congratulated us on the honeymoon, asked us if we stayed hydrated since it was very hot out... i told her "yes, but we got sunburnt very badly *i showed her my legs which were super red and splotchy* i look like fresh lobster!" so Ariel goes "I'll be sure to tell Sebastian xD" i told her i loved her dress and she said "oh thankyou maybe i'll let you wear it one day!" LOL it was time to go inside and eat so we wished her well and she wished us a great time :) well before eating we met snow white and cinderella again. then we finally got to meet belle and aurora.
Belle was super sweet. she congratulated us, and asked us where we were from.. and as soon as i said Canada, she asked me if we've been brushing up on that french of ours. i said.. "no :P i gave up on it a long time ago" so then she says " you should pick it up again and come visit me in france!" i promised her i'd make plans to visit france, and that it was in the agenda because i'd love to visit the Garnier opera house in Paris. and she told me her favourite place was the louvre and that i should check that place out too! we talked to aurora for a bit... complemented each other's jewellery :P and then our food came out.
Food was AMAZING! For my app i picked butternut squash, decided on the lobster entree salad with bacon avocado quailegg and mixed greens (...vegans, dont judge me D: ), dessert was a trio of cremebrulee, chocolate dipped strawberry, and a mini s'more cake. HOOOOOOOMAGOONESS the meal was divine. 

We decided to go on a forest trek next to paradise pier... i think it was called wilderness explorer. it's basically a kid's playground but with load of stairs and climbing.. and wooden bridges and rope bridges, hideaway huts, towers, and trails, slides, and a scavenger hunt.

Next was the Grizzly Run which was a water ride... with sudden drops. it was a 45 hour wait, and i didn't get soaked enough. but Steven got super soaked. lucky bum. 

We decided to wait for the parade and hide from the sun so we went back to Hollywood animation studios. i helped the workers complete a Cinderella puzzle... Steven bought more souvenirs for the house which will be directly shipped from Disneyland to Canada. (it came like.. within 4 days.. REALLY FAST DELIVERY TIME O-O) then we decided to sit inside the animation studios room to see all the images and listen to all the music. for a good 30 minutes. a baby came up to Steven to say hi and stared at him. and his hat. awww. then we decided to go talk to crush again. YAYY! it was a lot funnier than the last time. this is how it went down.
kid: what does the fox say???
Crush:... whats a fox? is that like.. a land animal? well.. i know a fish goes glub, and a seal goes ow ow ow...but i dunno what land animals sound like.. if i had to guess... it would probably go... RINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDING... OR SOMETHING LIKE... WAKAKAKAKAKAKAKOW!!!!!

EVERYONE started howling with laughter. then he picked on a girl:

crush: so do you swim?
teengirl: yes i do
crush: oh nicenice, in the ocean?
teengirl: no
crush:... why did you get into a fight with an octopus?
teengirl:...nnno?
crush: oh ok cuz you got some ink on your arm (looking at her tattoo) it's ok i won't tell anyone.

crush: where do u like to go often?
teengirl: disneyland!
crush:... what's a disneyland?
teengirl:.. um.. you're in it...
crush: ...dude, i'm in the ocean i dunno what you're talkin' about hehe
teengirl: you're in a tank, you're in disneyland, you could break this glass and come through if you wanted to
crush: wuhh dude i don't think that's a good idea haha.

Crush: i got this really cool human object but i dont know what it is *pulls out a foam thimb finger you use for cheering at sports games* do you know what this is?

crush: ok sweet what do i do with it

crush: oh cool ok i got that down, now what?
lgirl: you put it up in the air
crush: oh ok old on a sec. *he swims up and dissappears form the screen* OK IT'S UP IN THE AIR, NOW WHAT??
LOL!!!
lgirl: you YELL OUT I LOVE YOU!!!
crush: OH OK, I LOVE-- I FEEL LIKE THIS IS A TRAP!!!

then his last words of advice was: In the great ocean of like, make friends, not anenomines... amenoneneomi... manenomenanmon... STAY IN SCHOOOOL!

LOL!! 

then we went back to the sorceror's workshop to have our voices stolen by ursula again. but she gave them back. then i made steven have a go at it. IT WAS SO FUNNY.. because i can hear him doing the voice over... but when it came time to listen to it... i couldnt hear him LOL.... then we went to the animation room to draw oswald. the disney artist told us the history of oswald and how oswald was originally disney and they had sold him to universal studios.. but disney recently made a trade back so now they have him again. 

then we decided to wait outside on the park bench until the pixar parade started. if you remember from my day 3 blog, we had missed half of the parade. the parade was different this time because it was sooo hot outside... so they... SOAKED US WITH WATER!!!! :D YEEEEEEEEE!!

Afterwards we went to Carthay circle restaurant to eat another 3 course meal which was pre set and included free VIP seating for the World of Colour water show at the pier and it's ONLY for Carthay circle diners. WHOOT.
Interior was very pretty... just like a fancy restaurant because it's an exact replica of the theatre where snow white first premièred. unfortunately the original burned down so walt disney decided to create a replica inside the disney parks. it had all these really cool photos of walt disney and julie andrews.. and there were a bunch of private rooms with names like... hollywood, hyperion, and buena vista... 
the piano playing in the background was soft and very relaxing but still played disney music. (side note: actually the whole park played disney music... but if you do to specific areas they do disney music a specific way.. like if you were in the forest or new orleans they'd play banjos or bluegrass style... fantasyland it'd almost sound medieval... paradise pier sounded a little like carnival style... hollywood land was a little broadway/ show music style...)
our server was incredible personal and friendly, almost like she's known us forever!
My app was chicken broth with basil... so my soup looked super green but it was super tasty!
Entrée was a teriyaki/balsamic reduction and sesame coated salmon with red thai curry sauce topped with basil... oh my god it was.. SO FREAKING BOSS. it's so good that could drink the sauce o-o.
For dessert, since i'm lactose intolerant, the server gave me an alternate option (automatic 10 dollar tip btw) which was a caramel tart with icecream on the side that i didnt have to eat (that ended u being given to steven). i ate my tart with the marshmallow fluff. it was too sweet for my liking but i didnt mind it.

After out meal we took out time getting back to the pier. we went on the ariel ride again and it was just as magical as the first time! but then the ride stopped and we heard sebastian say: oh no it looks like it was the work of that sea witch again! don't worry king triton will fix that.. but then literally two seconds later (i'm not kidding, i counted) he said "Good news! the ride will start in just a few moments!" and it automatically resumed in one second.

We decided to get a snack to munch on while waiting for the show to start.. even though we just ate like 20 minutes ago. so we decided to get chinese food at the lucky fortune cookie. Steven ordered tofu in teriyaki sauce with stirfry and jasmine rice, and i got fresh mangos. Disney.. you were NEAR perfect. NEAR perfect. steven's meal was pretty terrible tasting. i told him not to get it... but he got it. and i had to eat it. but it tasted pretty good with my mangos.

Finally!! We got to our waiting area because of our VIP seating.. AAAAAND there was no seats. at all. anywhere. no benches, or anything. well what was the point of reserved seating them if we don't GET seats? >.> LOGIC. Disneyland, YA HAD ME FOOLED THAT YA'LL WERE PERFECT.

The show was a beautiful water show of colour and they played all the Disney classics and their music. It started with the little mermaid, nemo and fantasia! then JACK SPARROW APPEARED and then.. the PYROS STARTED AND DANCED WITH THE WATER. so all you yeah and see is :Pirates of the Caribbean theme song and FIRE going off to the beat of the trumpet and the drums:
AMAZINGLY EPIC!!! you know what else was epic? THEY MADE IT INTO ROCK MUSIC. HEAD-BANGING ANDREA AT DISNEYLAND WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT! I was all right during the show. totally enjoyed it and didn't cry! ...but then THIS happened: Scar shoves Mufasa off the cliff.. and mufasa fall... and simba screaming NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
....then simba calls out... "Daaad!" over... and over.. and i just lost it. i cried. again. even more so when they showed bambi and dumbo with their mothers... bambi and his mother dying, dumbo with his mother in her cage... i sobbed. really loudly. i'm pretty sure i got judged that night. and for those who didn't cry and just judged me... YOU HAVE NO SOUL.
Why ya gotta play with my feelings Disney? ;__; Why ya gotta go breaking my heart?
Then the night ended with a literal SPLASH of colour. The water was just shooting up rainbow colours! Even the Mickey Mouse ferris wheel and white light at the park went all rainbowy!
I AGAIN cried all the way back to the hotel room. The last day of Disney would be the next day. i was DREAAAAADING IT. I didn't want the magic to end!

I didn't know Reality would hit me sooner in the face as soon as the last day arrived :|

DisneyLand Honeymoon Day 4: Back into Disneyland!

YAY MICKEYMOUSE 6AM CALL! YAY SHOVING STEVEN OFFA THE BED!

...BOO Skipped breakfast by accident :|

We took the monorail located in Downtown Disney all the way to Tomorrow Land, which wasn't our destination BUT it was a shorter way to get into the park. This time, our plan of action was to go into Fantasy land and Mickey's ToonTown.

We reach the entrance of the castle... and i am bracing myself to cross the drawbridge... i step inside and i hear Jiminey Cricket singing "when you wish upon a star"... now you think that i should've been all cried out from the day before after seeing mickey mouse... NOPE. I CRIED SOME MORE! 

After that little crying incident i realise that i was in a little medieval like part of the park. 

FANTASY LAND!

Where all our favourite storybook characters come to life! our first destination? The second star to the right.. or rather, the second RIDE to our right... THE PETER PAN RIDE! we get into captain hook's boat and it was like we were flying in Wendy darling's room and out...

... And then we made it into a sea of STARS! WE WERE SAILING THROUGH STARS! FLOATING EVERYWHERE! IT WAS SO REAL! IT REALLY FELT LIKE WE WERE FLYING!

There we saw a mermaid lagoon underneath a magic moon, then we travelled into a pirate cave! and then we saw some Indians brave!

After that ride finished, we went into the snow white and Pinocchio rides. it started off innocent and sweet at first.. but then it gets dark... like literally dark... and really creepy... like there were killer clowns ;__; and scary evil queens laughing in your face... monstro about to eat you... o-o so... yeah there was a very little line up for those two rides because they were so scary.

Then we went on the King Arthur's carousel... normal carousel. hey when you're in a park, ya must go on it!

AND THEN WE FLEW ON DUMBO! Steven was scared of dumbo going up and down even though it was a baby's ride. afterwards we had a churro for the very first time and it was soooo freaking amazing! but maybe that was because we skipped breakfast...

We were gonna go see Anna and Elsa but the wait time was 4 hours so we decided to wake early and go on the last day.

Then we went onto Casey Jr. train and... we sat in the cage instead of the seat. it took us around a very tiny village! and it was just like in the movie because they were playing the theme some for the train in Dumbo, and they even included the hill that we had to travel up on slowly just like in the Dumbo opening sequence!  THE TRAIN WE WERE ON EVEN SAID "i think i can, i think i can, i think.. i can.. i think.. i think... i.... knewi couldiknewicouldiknew i could YAHOO!!!!" and continued the song until we finished the ride!

After that ride finished we went onto a tiny boat which went through that same village except it was a tour of the village! we got to see the Palace of Agrabah, Snow White's cottage, Cinderella's chateau and her prince's castle... and prince Eric's castle and Ariel's underwater castle hidden in a waterfall! our boat driver was very punny. he kept telling people not to rock the boat unless we wanted to find nemo the hard way. KEKEKE! he also gave us a heads up on where and when to meet Elsa on her own parade float before the actual parade starts.

We made it into the village where all we heard was 'IT'S A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL" playing over and over.. and that's when i saw it.. THE WHITE AND GOLD CASTLE HOUSING LITTLE DOLL WORLDS AND DOLL VERSIONS OF DISNEY CHARACTERS FROM THEIR RESPECTIVE COUNTRIES! the ride was basically us "travelling the world" via a boat so we were in the water the whole time. notable characters were Aladdin and jasmine who were "flying" in India, Mulan and Mushu were in China, Simba and Pumba and Mowgli was in Africa (although I think Mowgli was supposed to be in India...), Ariel, Lilo and Stitch, and Nemo Dory and Marlin were in the waters of Hawaii/ pacific ocean, Woody and cowgirl Jessie was in America, Pocahontas was also in America... and when you travelled the world all the separate countries would sing their version of "its a small world" in their language.. but then when you reach the very end, you see all the countries together as one singing together and it was JUST SO CUTE!

We finished the ride and made our way into Mickey's Toontown, and took the Toontown train.. only to realise that the train actually also went into other parts of the park and did a circle tour of Disneyland. it also gave you the option to stop at the other stations . our first stop was at tomorrow land where we went into a tunnel to see how the grand canyon was originally... when they had dinosaurs! next we stopped at the Disneyland entrance. after that was new Orleans square. then we went back into Toontown.

It was a little bit after 11 that we started to get REALLY hungry from missing breakfast. so we tried a really huge turkey leg... worst decision ever made. we couldn't finish it, so we fed it to the ducks. mmmm cannibalism *sarcasm*. the turkey leg was too bland, too big, and waaay to chewy. and it gave me a stomach ache after an hour.

Within that hour, we waited in line for the "who framed roger rabbit" ride in toon town. the line up area was really creative. it was basically supposed to look like the streets of new york at night ...but outside. except we were inside. it was basically very dark and had a lot of UV lighting, looked very cartoonish. even the exit sign was cartoonish. once we got into the ride we found out we could control  our own car wheel to spin our car round and round!

i wanted something cold because my stomach was beginning to hurt so i ordered a strawberry Popsicle and the cashier asked me suddenly.. "are you a fan of Traci Hines??" i was a little shocked but i noticed that she noticed my seashell crop top from Adorkable Apparel (Shout out again to my girlie from across the border <3) and we were both fangasming at each other about Traci Hines, and then we fangasmed at another Disney worker for like.. 5 minutes. it was pretty epic.

The stage show for Mickey and the Magical Map was about to start nearby at the fantasy land theatre so Steven and i decide to wait in line for it. IT WAS SUCH A MAGICAL SHOW!!!
basically, Yen Sid made a map and mickey wasn't allowed to help create or paint on it yet because he's still an apprentice. but mickey wanted to help so when he tried painting on it he got sucked into the map!! and then mickey travelled into the different Disney worlds in the map and met characters that sung notable songs... like ok for example his first destination was the jungle from THE JUNGLE BOOK and the ape came out singing "I wanna be like you", second destination was under the sea... you can guess what song was sung :P third destinations was a combination of 3 worlds and POCAHONTAS came out singing just around the river bend!!! Then Mulan came out singing reflections.. and then RAPUNZEL AND EUGENE CAME OUT SINGING "I see the light" AND IT WAS JUST SO MAGICAL THAT- THAT.. i cried some more .__. The last stop was new Orleans and princess Tiana came out a la Mardi gras! then YEN SID came out and he told mickey that... HE WAS PROMOTED TO SORCERER AND THAT HE WAS NO LONGER AN APPRENTICE!!!! OH MY GOD YOU HAD NO IDEA HOW HAPPY I WAS. OH MY GOD. MICKEY MOUSE LEVELLED UP!!

After the show i was so happy (even though belly was still hurting)... so happy even that Steven noted...
"Hey Andrea... you haven't been swearing the entire time we were in Disneyland."
me: i what?
Steven: you haven't been swearing
me: well of COURSE i haven't I'M IN THE HAPPIEST PLACE IN THE WORLD!!!!

Despite belly aches, we decided to go explore the rest of toontown. first we went into Donald ducks house.. which was a boat. then Minnie's house, then mickey's house and barn... mickey's house was more interesting. he had a fully operational TV, AND a theatre inside his barn .
and i got to take a pic with mickey again! (... i made sure not to cry this time guys. i succeeded.) mickey was dressed in his orchestrator costume from his old silly symphony cartoons. he saw my ring and he really liked it. :P

WE FINALLY GOT TO TAKE A PICTURE WITH GOOFY TOO!! in front of his house. Goofy really loved Steven's shirt. it said "RULER OF THE WORLD..." but then his caretaker read the rest of the shirt which said "or at least, the remote." and goofy just went "aww darn" but then i said " it's the same thing :P" and goofy liked that answer so he felt a lot better! goofy congratulated us and shoot Steven's hand a lot lol. then we got an autograph and pictures. After we finished pics with goofy, Steven finally tells me that goofy was always his favourite. 0-0 wow. i am learning new things about him every day o-o how. i dun even.

I got nausea from the turkey leg and heat so we rested on main street for like... 3 hours. we found a nice bench under a tree that gave us adequate amount of shade and stayed there. we saw the all American college band come out singing Heigh Ho and played a bunch of Disney classics like the mickey mouse march, and zip a dee do dah zip a dee eh. then we saw.. ELSA AND ANNA'S SPECIAL PRE PARADE FLOAT. it was pretty bad ass because it played LET IT GO! Elsa looked fabuloso, and OLAF was there too saying hello to everyone!!!
A few minutes after that we saw the MICKEY'S SOUNDSATIONAL PARADE! Mickey came out on his float with all his friends, Minnie, Daisy, Pluto, and Goofy, and they were ALL SINGING THE MICKEY MOUSE MARCH!
then PRINCE ALI came out on his float and the genie singing.. yep, PRINCE ALI. then Terk from Tarzan and the orangutan from the jungle book came out with.. SIMBA ON HIS FLOAT. SINGING THE CIRCLE OF LIFE. Then ariel came out on her float and SHE WAS IN A TAIL!! and UNDER THE SEA CAME ON! THEN i saw the rapunzel float and ALL THE DISNEY PRINCESSES except Tiana WAS ON THE FLOAT! AURORA, AND BELLE I FINALLY GOT TO SEE!
Donald duck came out on his own float.. the Three Caballeros.
 Tiana came out on her own special Mardi gras float. then MARY POPPINS AND HUBERT CAME OUT ON THEIR SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS AND THEY WERE ALL SINGING STEP IN TIME. then it was over :|

My belly ache was over in that time so we decided to explore sleeping beauty's castle... which was BASICALLY THE CASTLE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PARK!! EEEEK!
It was just a castle walk through but IT LOOKED EXACTLY LIKE IN THE MOVIE!

Just outside the castle was a hidden door we didn't know about and it has a bunch of swords from the lord of the rings franchise, king Arthur's sword Excalibur, blows and arrows, katanas and samurai swords... daggers... i think the shop was called Castle Heraldry Shoppe. it also included coat of arms for your family, family history of your last names.. INCLUDING ASIAN LAST NAMES. INCLUDING MY MAIDEN NAME!!!!!!!!!

So i got the history of my family name and a certificate of authenticity and Steven got his coat of arms... which is obviously fake but whatever. we can start off with one now because I've always wanted one!

We went to Catal for dinner, which was a Mediterranean grill restaurant and bar right in the centre of downtown Disney. our server was a really nice old man who frequently came to talk to us throughout our meal.
I ordered PEI mussels with chorizo, water cress, garlic and baby potatoes as an appetizer. (super scrumptious but the spice builds up so in the end its super spicy because of the chorizo.
My entree was the lobster risotto. rice was super buttery.. not my favourite but the lobster with tomato, sausage, asparagus, and watercress was sooo good! we decided to order dessert since we didn't eat a proper meal all day.
Steven and i split a key lime pie with pistachio ice cream. it was super good! i was bad and tasted a sliver of the pistachio ice cream.. ohhh my god why am i lactose intolerant WHYY.. it was so good.. new favourite ice cream flavour. the server wrote congratulations on our plate with chocolate as a sweet (haha so punny) honeymoon surprise. gave him 10 dollar tip.

One outfit change later, we went to see the light+water show Fantasmic in new Orleans square. and SORCERER MICKEY WAS THE STAR! however, Ursula, Evil queen, and Maleficent, and pink elephants tried to steal mickeys show, but mickey fought back! a boat with peter pan and hook fighting and the crocodile appeared, images from Disney movies were projected onto the water screens, maleficent turned into a dragon and ALMOST BURNT HALF THE STAGE but mickey destroyed her. YAY! then all the Disney princes come out with their PRINCESSES! ON WOODEN FLOATS! BELLE AND BEAST, ARIEL AND ERIC, SNOW WHITE AND PRINCE CHARMING... it was so beautiful... and then STEAM BOAT WILLIE.. i mean BLACK AND WHITE MICKEY MOUSE.. CAME OUT ON THE MARK TWAIN RIVER BOAT WITH ALL THE DISNEY CHARACTERS! AURORA AND PRINCE PHILIP, ALICE AND THE HATTER AND WHITE RABBIT, WOODY AND JESSIE... and then the fire works above the castle began. i was prepared so i didn't cry a lot but i did tear up a little bit.

DisneyLand Honeymoon Day 3: Disney California Adventures Park

Another Mickey Mouse wake up call, a shove, and a clothing change~~ EEEEK! DAY THREE!!

Skipping ahead to breakfast and I realized... huh I missed an episode of Pretty Little Liars .__.

We went to eat at Storyteller's Cafe where we reserved seats to have an all you can eat breakfast with Disney characters! We met Chip and Dale and I got a selfie with Chip. I asked Dale what he ate for breakfast and he said he ate EEEEVERYTHING in the restaurant :P when I asked Chip, he said he ate nuts. then we met Koda and another bear i forget his name.. and that fox and bear from critter country, i forget their names too. they all gestured congrats and the fox grabbed Steven's hand and shook it a lot. and he OMNOMNOMed steven's mickey mouse hat xD and THEN we got free chocolate cupcakes because our server also saw that we were just married and hooked us up. Of course character dining was free because it was included in our Disneyland package. HOORAY FOR FREE STUFF!

Today we strategically planned to discover half of the California adventures park. We took the Streetcar to Hollywood land and stopped right in front of...

Disney Animation Studios. 

We went inside and it was just the most beautiful thing I've ever seen! screens everywhere showcasing Disney movies and concept sketches before the actual release of the movie, and they also play notable songs form that movie!! Pocahontas, fantasia, little mermaid, Pinocchio.. EVERYTHING.... I went inside, laid on the carpet floor and allowed the happy tears to come to my eyes (I refuse to give up the title of Disney's biggest crybaby).
There were 3 different areas to explore.
First we talked to Crush the Sea Turtle from Finding Nemo. he asked us questions and we got to ask him questions, and then he gives us turtle names! And no, he wasn't in a body suit, but he was actually ON SCREEN. and it was very interactive. when he came around to talk to me, this is how it went down:

Crush *swims over to the left* : ok let's go over to the right over here to the girl with the extra set of ears.. dude can you hear better with those things?
Me: yeah just a little bit
Crush: oh ok cool dude! awriiight whats your name?
Me: Andrea
Crush: Ariiiiiight AWESOME Andreaaaaa!! alright awesome Andrea, what's your question?
Me: What's your wife's name?
Crush *very shy, giggles and blushes*: Special Shelly.
Audience: Awwwww....
Crush: Yeah she's my special someone. Hey what about you, do you have a special someone?
Me: He's sitting right next to me :) *i gesture over to Steven*
Crush: Oh the dude with the rodent eating his head?
*Audience laughs*
Crush: alright cool cool! now what's that pin on your shirt say?
Me: Just married :)
Crush: GASP. dude. are you like, on your HONEYMOON?? WELL CONGRATULATIONS! HEY, how long have you been together?
Me: Nine years.
Crush: Aw that's pretty sweet dude. that's a pretty long time, i remember, like, when i met my wife Shelly, it felt like we've known each other for, like, eeever. do you feel that way? like you've known each other forever?
Me:...well, not really.
Crush: o-o ... um... dude. he's like, right beside you.
*Audience laughs*
Crush: Naw man I'm totally joking, GIVE IT UP FOR THE NEWLY WEDS! YOU SO TOTALLY RAWK!!!
Audience: Duuuuuuuuuude...

I felt so special :3
Then he asked a kid in the audience what he was holding or what this specific human thing was.. and he pulls out a bikini top and the adults laugh but the kids were all like.. hm... we don't know. but this kid thought it was a bow tie! so he tells Crush "it's a bow tie, you wear it on your neck when you go out" and crush was like "oh so you mean like.. i can go surf in this with my friends and totally not be made fun of?" again all the adults laugh because we know what it is and the kid was like "...um.. no..?" and we start laughing even more!!!!

so at the end of the talk, he gave us some ancient turtle wisdom: treat everyone like they're an oyster, cuz you'll never know when you might find a pearl *cue "AWWWW"*...
Crush: wasn't that a warm and fuzzy moment? *bubble streams come up from behind him because he's farting*.... well that was an even warmer fuzzy moment!!!

LOL!

Turtle session was over so we decide to make our way to the second area which was an animation room. looked like a university classroom, but with a stage and a screen to show everyone how to draw. the next time slot was reserved on how to draw OLAF from frozen. the artist really liked my Minnie mouse slippers that i bought the night before because my feet were hurting, and he really liked my hot topic Minnie mouse tights too! anyway the training started and i gotta admit.. Steven did a pretty ok job at drawing Olaf. of course i did better than he did. :P sorry hun. anyway the artist then saw our just married pins and decided to gift us with HIS Olaf sketch that he signed and dated AS A WEDDING PRESENT. OMG. i was about to burst into happy tears. I GOT A DISNEY ARTIST GIFT. EEEP!

Then we went into the last area called the sorcerer's workshop where we saw the evil queen's magic mirror. the magic mirror told us that the room we were in is a room full of moving pictures... so there was a lot of cool things to spin and look into. and we got to draw our own images and make them move. he then explained the two other rooms was a room that will tell you who you really are, and a room where we need to beware the sea witch. the next room we realized the mirror was talking about the beast's library. the library was dark and scary. The prince's portrait was slashed, and the lion statues were scratched up. over the unlit fireplace was the enchanted rose that kept dropping it's petals. then all of a sudden the room magically lit up and fixed itself as if a curse was lifted... JUST LIKE IN THE MOVIE. and i began tearing up again!!
We sat down on a chair to talk to a book. it asked us a series of questions which would reveal what Disney character we actually were. i got Mulan :| and Steven got Pooh bear :3 d'aww... the final room was Ursula's underwater hell soaked lair where i got my voice stolen. twice. i got it back though. Once was when i had to act out a scene from a movie (the lion king) and twice when i had to sing "hakuna matata." you basically just had to do voice overs.

We left the animation studios right after and their gift shop was fantabuloso.
Then we went to see Muppets3D. Mickey mouse made a special appearance xD
Performance was actually pretty good. the whole entire theatre was used as a stage so bubbles came down on us, water, wind, and then the Swedish chef blew of the theatre o-o that was pretty awesome lol they had some pretty boss Muppet movie poster too like.. the Dogfather... Greasy, starring miss piggy... PLUMP FICTION...

Then we went into the monsters inc ride. again it was a "tour of monstropolis".  very slow and very nice.

The bug's life ride was also relaxing. we flew up on one of Flik's flying machines. there wasn't much else to do in that area so we went back to Hollywood land and we saw that the Aladdin stage musical was starting soon so we decided to line up. while waiting we ate a Mickey mouse soft-pretzel. it was so good but so salty. o-o
we sat in the mezzanine area and Steven made the genius decision to sit in the "boxes". two seater. so i got to see the stage up close AND into the wings. (hey i miss drama class ok?) the theatre was specifically made for Aladdin and it was probably as big as the princess of whales theatre in toronto. no i lied it had an extra floor and it was a lot wider. it was bigger than that.
Anyway the stage show was pretty awesome. and SO SOOO FUNNY. the genie broke the 4th wall so many times and made so many references outside of Aladdin. here's a few i jotted down:

"AIEAIEAIE, That zumba class i took a century ago didn't help me at all.. look at me! *rubs stomach* i look like Justin beiber at 30 years old!" 

"3 rules when it comes ta wishing, Ya can't wish for someone to love ya, ya can't wish for a thousand more wishes, and Ya can't resurrect people like ya can't resurrect Fifa Brazil ok?" 

"heeeey .... jafar!!... maaaan this is awkward. ya know what else is awkward? MILEY CYRUS. hey jafar, have ya seen her wrecking ball? no? cuz it looks like it hit ya in the face!"

"Hey Al, that princess is as dramatastic as the kardashians." 

"Oh man sorry i'm late i was taking the elevator up from the wings but beyonce's sister BEAT me to it" 

"HEY AL! LET IT GO!.... LET IT GO!..... THE CARPET NEVER BOTHERED ME ANYWAY!!!" 

"... do ya wanna build a snow man?" 

*prince ali proposes to jasmine* "gaaaasp THIS IS JUST LIKE WHAT THEY DO ON THE BACHELOR!" 

*the end of the musical* "GAAASP THIS IS JUST LIKE THE ENDING ON THE DVD!!" 

"PSH. OH no you diii' in't" 

"i'm free? I'M FREE! I'M GOIN' TA DISNEYLAND!!!" 

"... well if ya aren't busy, i'm gonna go find nemo now." 

*when iago decides to join the good guys* "get away from us you tiki room reject, or we'll turn you into chicken nuggets" *he was referencing the tiki room bar at the Disneyland park* 

*singing prince ali song* He's got slaves, he's got servants and flunkies "Just like Snooki"
*Using his lamp as a cellphone* "Hashtag ugly sultan." *jafar gives him a glare* "..... Tweet!"

"HEY! COME BACK WITH MY UMBRELLA! ELLA! ELLA! EH! EH! EEEEH!!"

and then we saw Aladdin and jasmine fly over the audience on a magic carpet ride! it was

A WHOLE NEW WOOOOORLD, A NEW FANTASTIC POINT OF VIEW, NO ONE TO TELL US "NO," OR WHERE TO GO, OR SAY WE'RE ONLY DREAMING

Anyway the show was finished so we went outside and we saw.. MICKEY DANCING IN THE STREETS WITH THE NEWSPAPER BOYS! AND MICKEY'S FACE WAS MOVING O-O HE WAS TALKING. OH MY GOD. AND BLINKING. O-O
after that was finished, we went on the cars ride. the line up was super long and it was like the hottest day in California.. so hot that people actually fainted in line. o-o fast forward to when we were actually on the ride... it was a pretty slow and air conditioned ride. we were inside at first going through another "tour of cars land" when suddenly... we made it to the other half of the ride and we had to race another car in front of us.. o-o and then it became a roller coaster ride. it gave me AND Steven a heart attack o-o those drops were CRAZYY!!!

After that we went into a bug's life 3d theatre where we saw movie posters like "the termite-ator" and  "claws"... it was almost like we were underground and the style was almost like the Muppet 3d theatre where the whole theatre was the stage. it was very interactive. we had stink bomb sprayed in our faces, "bug spray" and "acid"... (it was just water) and the scariest part of all? Hopper put SPIDERS IN OUR FACES. THERE WERE SO MANY SPIDERS AROUND US i was flipping out so i removed my 3d glasses and realized they were just toys and there was actually maybe a few of them o-o... and then we had termites, ant and other creepy crawlies move under our bodies towards the exit. WHY DID IT FEEL SO REAL OMG...

We had a quick lunch (fries and chicken strips) i thought they were gonna give us a small portion but holy crap they gave like 8 large strips of chicken breast o-o and a wallop of fries... bigger portion than Canada's wonderland o-o
After lunch we decided to go back to the animation academy. this time we learned how to draw Oswald the lucky rabbit. the artist told us the history of Oswald and how he actually belongs to universal but disney was the one who created him first so Disney had to trade an actor to bring Oswald back. true story.
then after we finished we headed back into the room with many screens.. and much crying was had. for Rapunzel they had a before animation playing along with actual film when she was singing "at least i see the light"  and then all of a sudden all the screens had floating lanterns and i was just so amazed that i couldn't stop crying. IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL AND-AND MAGICAL. ;__; then we heard noise outside so we decided to leave the studio and we realized we missed half of the Disney pixar parade. we only caught a bit of finding nemo, cars, bug's life, and toy story.

We were pretty tired from the heat so we made our way back to the hotel but stopped in the centre of the park because... we saw Pluto again this time with an old timey hat! We missed goofy again, so we took another pic with Pluto.

Then from the corner of my eye... Mickey Mouse came out. we got in line to see mickey and my stomach was getting all twisted and knotted up again. "I'm finally meeting mickey mouse after 22 years of my LIFE." My turn came and i said "HI MICKEY!!" and gave him my autograph book... but then i don't know what happened, i just started crying. like when i say crying this time, i was beet red from crying, my eyes were swollen. SWOLLEN. i couldn't stop crying and i told mickey i waited my WHOLE LIFE to meet him... by this point i was just sobbing and mickey.. GAVE ME THE BIGGEST AND LONGEST HUG, and patted me on the back a few times to calm me down but that just made me more happy so i cried even more! (photographic evidence of this on Steven's page. yes i know, I'm exposing myself and letting myself be vulnerable). Tears of joy ok, not sad tears. and then mickey wiped my tears away and gestured to our marriage pins to congratulate us. and then he pointed to my mickey shirt with all the lipstick stains from Minnie so i look down and goes "Yeah i love you mickey!!" so then mickey gives me three kisses on the head and gives me another big hug and a pat pat pat on the back before we left the park. I said bye to mickey and cried all the way back to the hotel.

For dinner we went to the ESPN Zone building in Downtown Disney.
Their fish tacos were DELICIOUS. my god they were so good that i didn't even touch my fries, AND there was cilantro in my food. normally i eat my fries and ignore my greens but for some reason every vegetable/ greens in the park was good i ate, everything o-o

We called it a night because i was all cried out.

DisneyLand Honeymoon Day 2: Original Disneyland

Part two of the disneyland blog. like the other blog post.. i'm inserting lyrics in from disney songs.

Silently sleeping... when suddenly...
*RINGRINGRING!* the hotel telephone gives me a heart attack at 6am in the morning.
I pick up the receiver and was about to say "hello" when from out of the blue, i hear...

MICKEY MOUSE!!!!!! EEEEEEK!!! 

He gives us a wakeup call and says he can't wait to see us :D "So rise and shine, and i'll see ya REAL soon! HAHA oh gosh!"

i don't even wait for steven, i just shoved him off the bed and rushed into the bathroom to get ready for my awesome adventure in ORIGINAL DISNEYLAND.

"7am the usual morning line up" -Rapunzel, Tangled

Breakfast first at Steakhouse 55 inside the hotel. Glass of water, an omelette filled with tomatoes and avocados served with a side of fresh fruit and potato wedges - usually what i order at every hotel.


That morning we were the first customers, so all of the servers decided to come by our table to wish us a good morning and congrats on the marriage :D even the guests who were staying at the hotel were walking by and congratulating us! Maybe it's the atmosphere of disneyland, but everyone there is just magically more nicer and 1000x happier o-o

After stuffing our faces, we looked at our map to see what the game plan was for that day. for this day, we strategically explored four lands: Adventureland, new orleans square, critter country, and frontierland. then we eat at the chosen restaurants in either of those areas.


We enter the park... and we were greeted with...

 MAIN STREET USA.

"I'm walking right down the middle of Main Street U.S.A.It's the heart of America, the heartbeat of a holiday.The place was made with a magical planAnd just around the corner is a Fantasyland.I'm walking right down the middle of Main Street U.S.A."

We were then greeted by 10 of the PARK SECURITY.. but guess what happens? 

"I hear the music playingFrom the old time ragtime bandI feel the whole place swayingWith the people from across the landYou see the greatest smiling faces up and down the streetIt's remarkable how friendly all the people can beI'm walking right down the middle of Main Street U.S.A!!!"

They were all wearing MickeyMouse gloves and reach out their hands to high five us ALL IN A STRAIGHT LINE ! :D OH MY GOD FRIENDLY SECURITY???  

I run towards them and give them all Fives. AND THEY DID THE SAME TO STEVEN. I'VE NEVER SEEN SECURITY PEOPLE LOVE THEIR JOB BEFORE OMG.

Then in front of me.. i see a statue of Walt disney holding mickey mouse's hand... and behind the statue was the disney castle... I STARTED TEARING UP AGAIN BECAUSE OH MY GOD.. "I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M HERE AND MY DREAMS HAVE COME TRUE"..

*As i'm typing this blog up, recalling all the happy memories is making my cry happy tears :|*

MOVING ON before i soak my keyboard.

We were in the middle of the square and saw that there were two entrances into 2 lands... So we entered the first entrance. 

ADVENTURE LAND.

never in my life have i ever felt like i shouldve been carrying a keyblade until that moment.. it was like.. KINGDOM HEARTS AND TRAVELLING INTO DIFFERENT WORLDS...

We walk past the Tiki room/bar where they frequently have shows, and past Aladdin's Oasis, where they also have shows. then we see a ride i wanted to go on that was exactly like the ride on my disneyland sing a long song VHS tape o-o THE JUNGLE TREK. this is basically how it went down:

"Tee dum, tee deeA teedle ee do tee dayWe march alongAnd these are the words we sayTee dum, tee dee a teedle ee do tee dayOh, a teedle dee dum a teedle ee do tee day"

We were on a boat and we were exploring the jungle. our tour guide was very punny. there were piranhas in the water (obviously fake) and warned us not to stick our fingers in, we'll be shorthanded. KEKEKEKE! we saw some lions in the den. just.. LION (lyin') around. KEKEKEKE. and over to the right we saw a shop... it was bazaar (sounds like bizarre) KEKEKEKE. anyway those were the rest of the puns i remembered.

we finish the tour and we see TARZAN'S TREEHOUSE. We walk up the stairs and we hear music playing...

"I wanna know, can you show me, something's familiar 'bout these strangers like me"

As soon as we made it to the top we crossed a wooden bridge and i heard the theme song for Tarzan

Then i see Sabor attack tarzan's parents and when i went to take a closer look Sabor (obviously fake) GROWLED AT ME and gave me a heart attack! then on my left i heard baby tarzan crying and rocking in a nearby tree!  as we walked further along i saw kala illustrated in a book saying she rescued tarzan and raised him as her own.

then i heard soft music box playing in a tree near by... i peer into the tree room and i see kala holding baby tarzan and looking at a blank green screen. i saw another book in front of my that illustrated a gold baby tarzan, then child tarzan, then adult tarzan. i listen closer and i realize the music was playing "You'll be in my heart"

Except at this point now i start crying a lot because the figures in front of me was just so precious and-and i couldn't help myself :'( it struck me right in the heart and then...

and then i cried even more. we made it down the tree house after i was all cried out, and we started exploring jane and her father's camping area and we started making noises like in the movie. and a good time was had by all.

After we got off we unknowingly made it into...

NEW ORLEANS SQUARE

The next ride we see was PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN. and because we had early admission (7-8am admission), the lineup was short. We make it inside... and it was complete Darkness. AND it was a water ride/tour of the POTC world. it was very epic. and HUGE. very HUGE. it was like night time inside the ride but it was inside and it was daylight outside o-o and then we saw a bit of the Blue Bayou restaurant thats located inside new orleans square. you can eat in the restaurant and watch people pass by on their boat ride. pretty awesome. because pictures and stuff wasn't allowed, i don't have any real memory of the ride except that i kept hearing skeletal people and some voice saying "...DEAD... MEN...TELL...NO....TALES...." REPEATEDLY... and then i saw davy jones' face appear in the mist o-o like WHOA. and then we actually went downwards like a slight coaster and steven starts freaking out and my seat gets wet from the water getting inside the boat!!! o-o pretty intense ride. and then we hear johnny depp-- i mean.... captain jack sparrow singing "a pirates life for me!"

next ride we went into was THE HAUNTED MANSION. i convinced steven to come but he doesnt like scary stuff... but from what i remembered from the haunted mansion movie, it was pretty funny. also the VHS tape i have at home shows how ghosts appear and disappear so i wanted to see that for myself. steven hears that and thinks its cool so ok we decide to go in. the butler greets us and tells us 'come in.. be.. UNCOMFORTABLE..." and he creepily laughs at us o-o. we enter this room with a bunch of guests and we assume "oh it's gonna be a house tour" ... except it wasn't. the room began to expand and as the person greeting us starts speaking.. the room expands even more vertically and shows the remaining pictures on the walls and how the person in the picture actually dies... suddenly... the room light goes out. and we hear thunder... lighting appears from the top of the ceiling and we see a skeleton hanging from the ceiling and everyone starts freaking out and yelling like crazy o-o AND THEN... the lights come back on and the skeleton disappears. HOLY CRAP i almost shit my pants then. turns out the elevator led us to a slow ride where we got to see some pretty creepy shit o-o like this bride who kills her husbands but she's actually dead or immortal or something... and then we passed by a graveyard and dead shit kept popping up in my face. ;__; ok the ride was pretty awesome because of the shock factor. but they scared the jebus out of me. we get off the ride and next thing you know we are already in...

CRITTER COUNTRY

Then as a change of pace... we went on THE MANY ADVENTURES OF WINNIE THE POOH. soft, slow ride for steven, nice and cutesy ride for me. there was so much music i sang along to! like

then we took a raft towards Tom Sawyer Island. the island was pretty relaxing. there wasn't any rides but it was basically a pirate playground island for kids. there were a lot of paths and caves to go into and explore.

then we took the raft back to new orlean's square to ride on the Mark Twain riverboat tour. It was SO relaxing that steven fell asleep :|

the boat was surprisingly kept very clean.. in fact, now that i think about it, this entire park was clean o-o even the bathrooms and huge stores.. no cobwebs or bugs or dust... NOTHING!

All this happened before 11:15am. we decided to rest for 15 minutes before going to the French Market for lunch.

The interior of the French market was ultra cute! pastel pink, mint green, white swirls and rose+shell motif's everywhere! it was like.. Sweet Lolita heaven!  Food ordering/serving style was like Ikea. so like a cafeteria. i ordered a salmon steak with salad and a keylime pie. My meal also included a biscuit which I used to feed the birds.

After Lunch we headed into....

FRONTIERLAND 

It basically looked like a barn with horses and a petting zoo. There.. I MET MY FIRST CHARACTER! WOODY! He was pretty tall so i mentioned that and he gesture "haha oh stop it you". i got an autograph and a picture with him :)

we see the THUNDER MOUNTAIN ride and i coax steven onto the ride. IT WAS AMAZING! ONE OF THE BEST FASTEST RIDES IVE EVER BEEN ON! ... steven however... he was TERRIFIED...

 there wasn't much to do in frontierland other than all you can eat BBQ so we headed back to critter country and went canoeing. it was such a workout but i felt like Pocahontas... and i couldn't wait what else was in store for me in disneyland :)

I had this nagging feeling that i was supposed to do something with the gold heads at Tarzan's Treehouse so we trek back over to the treehouse and climb up once more. i found the book and i touch one of the gold heads and an image appeared on the screen where kala was faced towards with baby tarzan. then i realized that the book could change images to show kala's favourite moments with tarzan as he grew up. like when tarzan was a baby, kala lulled him to sleep and he had a butterfly on his face, and when tarzan was trying to look more like a gorilla by wiping mud on himself but kala wiped it away and showed that both hearts are the same so matter what they look like.. and my favourite one that they showed was when tarzan gave his mother a hug when he was going to leave the world of apes to live with jane in london and he goes "whereever i go, you'll always be my mother" and kala goes 'and you will always be in my heart... by the end of that i was downright red in the face from sobbing.. so much that a lady in the treehouse gave me this really judgemental look. YOU HAVE NO SOUL ;__;

then i had this strange calling to go back towards our hotel so we backtracked and decided to stop by aladdin's oasis.. and there, I MET JASMINE AND ALADDIN! They both congratulated us on the wedding and asked us where we were from. i said we flew in from canada and they were both pretty shocked. then they talked about how to take pictures using picture taking devices. they were pretty nice. i got a pic and an autograph as well from both of them :)

now we're back walking down main street USA. and we see a silhouette outline store. one head for 10 bucks wasnt bad but when we went inside she was on lunch break. so we walked further down and saw a STEAMBOAT WILLIE theatre!! we walked in and saw like SOO many retro mickeymouse cartoons! we were pretty tired from all the walking so we hid in there for a while because it was super hot and we never took a break from the 7 hour walk. plus it was SUPER air conditioned inside. after resting we slowly walked to the entrance of disneyland and... THEN WE SAW PLUTO, GOOFY AND DONALD DUCK! Goofy had to go but PHUTO GAVE ME THE BIGGEST AND WARMEST HUG A DOG COULD EVER GIVE! and then he sniffed my book and gestured... "YOU WANT ME TO SIGN? :D" then he put the book on his nose and signed it. aww! and then i gave pluto a kiss on the nose and pluto was all like LE GASP and covered his cheeks! Then i asked Donald "How's my favourite duck" and he gestures with his feet and looks down "aww shucks".. then he saw my pin and wedding ring, and gestured... "YOU'RE MARRIED??" then he tried kidnapping me and taking me away and gestured to steven "KEEP BACK SHE'S MINE!" and everyone in the back of the line was laughing so hard! i got an autograph and a picture with donald showing my ring. :) very cute moment.

Then i saw CHIP from chip and dale and chip signed my book! i kissed chip on the nose and chip was very shy about it. :3 d'aww..

by then our feet were REALLY killing us and it was 3 oclock. so it was... a 9 hour walk nonstop. we hurried to the hotel for a shower, outfit change, and 30 minute rest.

back into the park, we headed off to cafe orleans for dinner. but first we stopped by the silhouette portrait store to get our heads done. usually it takes like one minute per person but this old woman.. my god she was so pro that she finished both heads in 30 seconds. like i literally kneeled and was hailing her "I AM UNWORTHY!" she and her shop assistant was bursting out in laughter and ended up red from laughing! i don't think she's ever gotten one but man... she deserved one o-o.

Cafe Orleans was very cute. tiny and quaint. Food was good. had sweet potato waffle fries on the side with a roasted cajun chicken sandwich with tomato and avocado.

because we had some time after dinner, we headed over to a tiny portion of Fantasyland which was nestled in a corner of frontierland, and we got to see snow white, ariel, and cinderella!
Snow White was very sweet, congratulated us and wish us many years of happiness. :)
Ariel really loved my Adorkable Apparel shell top (shout out to my most awesome American Home-slice, and hipster mermaid, Traci Hines!) and my autograph book - it was an Ariel Notebook i got for my birthday 2 years back from Red Riding Hood :) she congratulated us and wished us an amazing honeymoon.
Cinderella was just like in the movie! she was quiet but polite and reserved and graceful. she congratulated us and hope we enjoyed our stay at the kingdom!

we got out and we saw a last part of the parade we missed. the last float we saw was Mary Poppin's float which played supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, and Step in Time.

we were right next to tomorrowland by that time so we decided to take a peek of that area. we went on Star Tours, which was basically a star wars 3D ride. it was a HUGE ASS LINE UP and a one hour wait. and by the end of the ride i was nauseous. but it was pretty funny because it took a picture of someone in the ride and pretended they were a rebel spy to darth vader was attacking our ship...

When we finished, it was super dark by that time and almost time for the fireworks above the castle. we tried to find seats but they filled up so fast so we stood near the back.

The nervousness began to settle in while waiting for it to start. "what if it wasn't as magical as i thought it would be? what if it was just hyped up?" I finally understood what Rapunzel felt when she was going to see the lanterns at her castle.

As i was about to tell steven that i was getting nervous... all the lights went out at the park and the magical display of fire works started.

Then, just like they do at the beginning of all the Disney movies, a single firework flew over the castle...

My protective shield broke, and i could not stop crying like a little baby the entire 15 minutes of the show. but rather than tell you how that show was... how about i just show you the video? the vid will be on my Facebook page, highlighted, and will say "Fireworks."
I cried when Gepetto said he wished for his son Pinocchio to be a real boy. and i cried when the song "Baby Mine" was playing... and the last part of the fire works when they were playing "When you wish upon a star". After the show Steven convinced me that we should go back and rest for tomorrow because there be more magic we need to prepare for. so i cried all the way back to the hotel room after it finished, and i cried going into bed.

Little did i know that i would be crying more the next day :|
